Our client, A Large public sector organisation, is looking for a Welder/Fabricator in Moira.
Duration: Until 31/03/25
Rate of pay: £12.54 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am-1:30pm
Location: Moira
Main duties:
The main duties and responsibilities of the post-holder will include:
• Perform all fabrication and welding tasks and finishing processes.
• Operate appropriate machinery and hand tools.
• Working with dimensional drawings.
• Erect on site materials and structures made in the workshop.
• Load and unload materials for transport to and from site.
• Drive Departmental vehicles, including transport of colleagues and materials.
• Completing required documentation as requested.
• Carrying out general labouring duties.
• Any other reasonable duties assigned by charge hand/manager.
• Attending training as required.
All staff are required to work under the direction of line management, and in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations and local site safety requirements.
Duties will include working at height, in adherence with the Working at Height Regulations, and will include working on scaffolding, inside and outside buildings and monuments
Desidered Criteria:
Desired qualification, working towards or having gained NVQ level 3 Heritage Skills in metal work.
Essential Criteria:
NVQ Level 2 in welding
Applicants must have a full and valid driving licence for Northern Ireland
