Starting asap Full-time Medical Receptionist required for practice based BT15. This post is temporary with the view to becoming permanent. Reporting to the Practice Manager duties will include the following
Duties
· Meeting & greeting patients to the surgery
· Answer telephone calls
· Organising appointments
· Organising prescriptions
· Liaising with hospitals
· Passing on results to patients
· General administration.
Criteria
· Previous experience in a customer facing reception role is essential
· Previous experience in a Health Service/ GP Surgery advantageous
· Excellent communication & organisational skills
· Fully computer literate
· 5 GCSE’s including English & Maths @ grade A-C or equivalent
· Experience of complaint handling
Hours of work -
37 hrs per week Mon – Fri 8.30am – 5pm with one 6pm finish probably a Tuesday
£11.73 per hour
