Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (37 hours per week)
Rate of Pay: £14.50 per hour
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Work Coach to join our team in Antrim. The Work Coach’s mission is to support claimants in preparing for work, securing employment, maintaining long-term job retention, and progressing to increase their earnings. You will use effective coaching techniques, conduct Work Focused Interviews, and engage with claimants online to guide them into employment and financial independence. This role involves both telephony and face-to-face appointments conducted in the office.
Main Duties:
- Conduct Work Focused Interviews to assist claimants in their job search and career development.
- Utilize a range of channels, with an emphasis on digital services, to support claimants and their families in achieving financial independence through employment.
- Motivate and challenge claimants individually or in groups, ensuring interactions are geared toward employment goals.
- Engage with claimants through telephony and face-to-face appointments as part of their support journey.
Training Requirement:
- Full attendance is mandatory during the initial 8 weeks of training and consolidation, with no leave permitted.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: 5 GCSEs including Maths & English, graded A to C or equivalent (evidence required), Along with 2 A-levels in 2 seperate subjects
- Clearance: Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Access NI check.
