About the role:
As part of this role, the
successful candidate will:
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing support to a number of the Firm's
practices, primarily the commercial, data, information and technology practice
across multiple jurisdictions. The Belfast team also works with members of the
Corporate Support Group and Contentious Support Group in the Firm's Belfast
Centre, in a "one team" approach, assisting with bespoke projects
other than billable matters, as required.
The successful candidate will be an experienced commercial solicitor
with a track record of dealing with a wide variety of legal issues and an
ability to hit the ground running who can offer pragmatic, sensible legal
advice to a high standard and to challenging deadlines.
Skills and Experience:
• Qualified as a Lawyer
in England & Wales or Northern Ireland
• Strong experience in a broad
range of commercial contracts, including: supply agreements, manufacturing
agreements; advising on consumer law matters, due diligence projects, data
protection
• Experience in any of IT
agreements, software licensing, data protection, intellectual property would be
desirable
• Strong communication skills
• Sound commercial awareness
• Ability to review, analyse and
organise documentary and factual evidence
• Strong attention to detail -
get it right first time
• Excellent working knowledge of
Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and online research tools
• Excellent writing and
organisation skills - used to balancing work priorities and managing deadlines
• Good decision-making and
communication skills
• Able to work well in both a
team and individually, with others of various experience levels
