The School

This school is part of a large school group with colleges throughout China, in partnership with a prestigious UK-based college. The Hangzhou campus opened in August 2018 with almost 600 pupils and will grow to accommodate almost 2,000. The school is creating a new level of excellence for bilingual education in which pupils follow a curriculum based upon the Chinese state requirements, enhanced by the National Curriculum for England that will lead to IGCSE and “A” level examinations. As a new purpose-built school with excellent facilities, the school offers a wonderful opportunity to join an enthusiastic international staff team, in a rapidly growing school, in a lovely part of the world.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be qualified/certified teachers with a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience, ideally with UK curriculum experience.
  • Previous international experience is desirable, alternatively some experience working successfully with colleagues from different educational and ethnic backgrounds
  • Outstanding communication skills, active team players and self-starters are all key attributes which are key to being successful within this environment.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Monthly Gross Salary: RMB 26,000-41,000 based on years of teaching experience

  • Gratuity: One month after 2 year contract and every year after
