2nd Line Service Desk Analyst

MCS Group is proud to partner with a market-leading manufacturing company in County Antrim to recruit a 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst.

This is an exciting opportunity to get hands on with a brand new service desk team, whilst delivering a high level of service to clients across the company!

As part of their rapid IT expansion, this service desk team is in the initial release phase and will have you working within a high-energy and high-performing team.

You will be responsible for:

• Carrying out the installation and configuration of hardware and software across the site.
• Responding on time and effectively to service desk incidents, according to the newly defined SLA's.
• Create documentation according to any troubleshooting issues you have resolved for recurring errors.
• Hands on supporting and maintenance of Windows and MAC OS devices.
• Develop and deliver technical documentation for new staff training purposes.
• Assist new staff with set up and training within their workstations.
• Carry out the maintenance and support of Active Directory.
• Support end users within the business either in person or remotely.

Requirements:

• Either a Degree in IT Support with 2+ years of experiece as a Service Desk Analyst or Equivalent OR 3+ years of Service Desk Support experience or similar job.
• Working knowledge of service desk software (ServiceNow or similar)
• Experience supporting wired and wireless network.
• Industry experience working with Windows 10/11, MS Teams, MS Office and AD

Having the following will give you an advantage in the application process:

• 4+years of service desk experience
• CopTIA A+ Certification
• Microsoft 365 certifications
• Experience working with Systrack, NextThink or similar systems
• Exposure to Legacy Systems (Beneficial)
