Type: Temporary Contract - £20-£25phr

Overview:
VANRATH is seeking a Data Warehouse Specialist to join our Public Sector client on a temporary basis. This role involves developing and optimising enterprise data warehouse (EDW) infrastructure, implementing ETL processes, and driving the organisation's analytics and business intelligence capabilities to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, consolidate, and optimise the EDWs infrastructure for internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and implement robust ETL procedures and processes to ensure high data quality and functionality.
• Architect analytics platforms and dashboards to meet user needs.
• Perform database performance analysis, monitoring, and tuning.
• Design data marts, metadata, and models, ensuring proper version control of EDWs architecture codes.
• Enhance the Trust’s business intelligence capabilities to improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with system managers to link database structures to EDWs requirements.
• Create, maintain, and update detailed documentation, test plans, and scripts.
• Troubleshoot EDWs and provide proactive solutions for BI tools, reports, and database structures.
• Assist with upgrades to regional data warehouse systems and deliver technical training to team members.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and ICT security policies.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong experience in developing and managing EDWs and BI platforms.
• Proficient in ETL processes, database structures, and performance tuning.
• Skilled in producing high-quality documentation and implementing test plans.
• Collaborative and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members in data management practices.
