IT Infrastructure Engineer

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a Top 100 Company who are seeking to build out their on site IT Team by adding an IT Infrastructure Engineer to the team.

This is a very hands on role looking for someone who is keen to grow and develop their skills in new technology.

You will be responsible for:

• Proactively manage and maintain the IT solutions portfolio at a 3rd Line Level
• Conduct in-depth problem identification and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform regular health checks and provide service improvement recommendations.
• Contribute to IT infrastructure projects and service enhancement initiatives.
• Lead proactive maintenance efforts, including patch management and system upgrades.
• Monitor service performance, generate detailed reports, and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors for technical support and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure services consistently meet or exceed SLA requirements.

What you will have:

• 3+ Years of experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 2019 - 2022.
• Experience working with Azure AD, Onedrive and Group Policy.
• Experience supporting a large scale multi site business.
