Head of Water
The Head of Water will lead and manage the Water Production Line with responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of water services throughout Northern Ireland to meet demanding economic, regulatory, environmental and customer service standards and budget management responsibility of circa £85 million.
They will lead and provide strategic direction to circa 320 employees throughout Northern Ireland during cycles of significant change and continuous improvement. The Head of Water will be responsible for all Water Production Line activities from Source to Tap and the delivery of water services to customers in Northern Ireland.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
1. Possess a third level qualification, in a relevant discipline, and a minimum of five years’ experience in a senior management role leading and managing operational, engineering or customer service delivery in a water/ wastewater utility.
OR (in the absence of a third level qualification)
Eight years’ experience in a senior management role leading and managing operational, engineering or customer service delivery in a water/ wastewater utility.
2. Demonstrable relevant expertise in, and experience of Water processes from source to tap, sludge treatment and related Customer issues.
3. Demonstrable relevant experience of developing and fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence at a senior level.
4. Demonstrable record of successful achievement in a leading role in the management of a substantial change programme delivering business benefits.
5. Demonstrable relevant experience of strategic planning with an ability to contribute to strategic debates and influence company-wide strategies and policies.
