Software Business Analyst

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a well-established software company who design, build and deliver bespoke, large-scale software solutions to major corporate clients and public sector organisations. This is an amazing opportunity for a technical Software Business Analyst to work with well-established, high-profile clients in several industries on bespoke projects from the ground up.

The Role

In this role you will work with customers to design, build and deliver bespoke cutting-edge solutions across a wide variety of industries, utilising the latest tech and cloud technologies. You will work closely with the cross functional teams consisting of developers and architects in an agile way developing the best solution for the customers.

Some duties listed below:

• Work directly with external customers on the delivery of bespoke software systems across multiple domains
• Work on custom projects from end-to-end, designing & scoping requirements from the ground up
• Collaborate with development on reviewing user stories for understanding and scoring
• Executing plans to test business and functional processes during product development and quality assurance testing
• Performing implementation problem solving and troubleshooting
• Attending meetings with engineers, QA testers and business analysts, owning meeting documentation by capturing key decisions

The Person

• 3+ years’ experience as a business analyst working on bespoke software development for external clients
• Experience working with software developers to build and design custom software systems and applications from scratch
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience working at a software company or working with complex, enterprise-wide technology.
• Knowledge of SaaS application concepts
• Use of Figma or other design tools to create mockups
