Product Development Engineer

We're seeking a Product Design Engineer (Senior Level) who’s excited to bring fresh ideas to life.

In this role, you'll have the autonomy to lead product development, take charge of projects, and collaborate with a skilled team.

From concept through to manufacturing, you’ll be at the forefront, creating impactful solutions that drive our business forward.

What You’ll Be Doing

• In-house designed products, guiding them seamlessly from concept through to production.
• Transform ideas into detailed 3D CAD models and develop precise technical drawings, Bills of Materials, and cost projections for manufacturing.
• Identify and source top-quality components, ensuring each design meets both customer specifications and regulatory standards.
• Stay up to date on industry standards and regulations to ensure all designs achieve the highest levels of safety, functionality, and reliability.
• Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges, including the development of jigs and fixtures to support efficient manufacturing.
• Collaborate with sales by providing technical drawings, specifications, and product insights that help drive sales and support client needs.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of design or product development experience in sectors like data centres, construction, or transport
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and technical drawings, ideally with Solid Edge and Tekla structures
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects
• A proactive, hands-on approach with adaptability to take on diverse tasks
