Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining electrical, mechanical, and automated systems in a modern, fast-paced food production setting. You’ll play a vital role in keeping production running smoothly, with the freedom to manage your tasks independently.
You would be working for a leading UK food producer with sites across the country!
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards according to company policies
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues
- Follow and complete preventive maintenance schedules
- Provide technical support across departments
- Maintain infrastructure to a high standard
- Implement strategies to improve machine reliability and quality standards
- Use on-site CMMS systems to drive cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, legal, and environmental regulations
Essential Qualifications
- Time-served Electrical & Mechanical Engineer
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an industrial or engineering environment focused on high-volume production
- Highly motivated with the ability to perform in a challenging, fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proven fault-finding experience and familiarity with control panels
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Work Schedule
- 40 hours, Monday to Friday - shift pattern of early and lates.
