The Diocese of Connor is looking for the right person to become our new Diocesan Youth Officer, building on the very successful work of the previous postholder.
The main objectives of the job will be to support and facilitate the development and implementation of Youth Ministry at parish and diocesan level and to energise, enable, and encourage those involved in youth ministry in the Diocese of Connor. You’ll work with and be supported by the Diocesan Youth Council in this exciting task.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), based in the Connor Diocesan Office, (currently at Channel Wharf, 21 Old Channel Road, Belfast, BT3 9DE), with travel across the diocese of Connor and it will involve regular evening and weekend working.
It is a genuine occupational requirement of this post that the post-holder is a practicing Christian, committed to working within the ethos & doctrine of the Church of Ireland.
