MCS Group is looking for a Contract Full-Stack Developer for a 6-month project in Belfast City Centre (Inside IR35 / Hybrid). This Full-Stack Developer will work across the Full-Stack, with Java in the back-end and React in the front-end, and gain unparalleled exposure to a genuine disruptor in their sector. The Role
Our client's key platform is going through a new development cycle, as well as the development of a new features including a mobile application to compliment their offering - this is your opportunity to get involved in this new development.
This is 3 days per week in the office in Belfast City Centre so applicants MUST be available to work on-site in Northern Ireland.
You will develop the UI for web and mobile with React and Ionic.
You will create services in a Java REST API as required to interface between the back-end database and front-end applications.
This is a full-stack development position with approx 60% of your time spent on the FE, and 40% BE.
The Person
You will be an experienced developer, with a solid project history which clearly demonstrates skills with React and Java (preferably with Spring Boot)
This is a 60/40 split of front-end to back end development so being comfortable in both is essential.
Given the nature of the project and the client work, you must be comfortable working with large and complex data-sets.
The role will also involve some Ionic development, so experience with Ionic is preferable.
This is on site 3+ days per week in Belfast/Northern Ireland.
Rate: Negotiable
