VANRATH are pleased to be working with a progressive not-for-profit organisation based in Northern Ireland, in their recruitment of a Senior Accountant. This is an interim contract with the view to securing a permanent contract and is being offered on a part-time basis (3 or 4 days a week).

This is the ideal role for a candidate with a varied experience within management accounts, grants submissions, funding applications and general accounts maintenance. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the CEO of the business and will take full responsibility for the organisations financial processes, liaising closely with the external accountant.

This is a role that can be operated on a hybrid or remote basis for the correct individual.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience Accountant
• experience of grant claims and submissions
• Strong financial management experience
• Available at short notice

What you’ll do

• Responsible for budgeting & forecasting processes
• Staff salaries
• Financial transactions including invoicing, payments & reconciliations
• Preparation of grant claims
• Raising funding streams
• General ad-hoc finance responsibilities
