Libraries NI is seeking to recruit motivated and reliable Library Assistants to join our team in the Fermanagh and Omagh Area, supporting the provision of library resources and library services to our customers.
Under the direction of the line manager the post holder will assist in the delivery of all library services. He/she will be a member of a team of front-line staff providing library services to meet the learning, information, leisure and cultural needs of the local community.
There are currently 5 immediate temporary* part-time posts awaiting appointment as follows:
• Omagh – 24 hours and 15 minutes per week
• Enniskillen 24 hours per week
• Irvinestown 8 hours and 30 minutes per week
• Fintona 10 hours per week
• Lisnaskea 20 hours and 15 minutes per week
*These are temporary posts, subject to review, pending the organisation and structure review and dependent on business need. Please note these posts are for a period of 50 weeks and may be extended, made permanent, or terminated for any valid reason.
NB Successful candidates will be placed on a reserve list and may be offered a similar, temporary vacancy in the Fermanagh and Omagh area as and when it arises.

• Fintona Library
• Irvinestown Library
• Lisnaskea Library
• Omagh Library
