What would a typical day look like for you?
- Provide excellent support to Brokers, customers, and internal teams through professional communication channels
- Resolve phone, email, and online queries on mortgage applications
- Set up new savings accounts and handle admin duties
- Direct customer calls to relevant teams to ensure efficient resolution
- Collaborate with Branch, Savings, Underwriting, and Mortgage teams
- Record all discussions, queries, and agreements in systems like Activate and MSS
- Maintain strong knowledge of products, procedures, and policies
- Explain branch savings and mortgage processes to customers or Brokers
- Adhere to Treating Members Fairly standards
- Perform reporting and administrative tasks as needed
You:
- 6 GCSE passes (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English and Maths
- Experience within banking or mortgages preferred
- Customer service experience
- Ability to use initiative, work under pressure, manage workloads and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
