We have a fantastic opportunity at our Residental Service in Carrickfergus, as we look for our next Team Leader! This is a Permanent contract, working 36 hours per week. Sense are offering Practice Team Leaders £13.39 per hour.
Edenvale Avenue is a 10 bedded residential service supporting individuals with sensory impairment and/or complex needs, a beautiful service, offering a supportive working environment which is commitment to quality, and an emphasis on training and development of our staff!
The high staffing ratios reflect Sense’s commitment to provide high quality services that meet the unique needs of the people we support.
As the team leader, you will be required to complete administration tasks and help lead the team of Support Workers with the support from the manager.
We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:- Positive, with a can-do attitude.
- Enthusiastic to participate in a wide range activities.
- Caring and empathetic.
- Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
- Have previous experience as a support worker or team leader in a similar setting is desirable– we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent Team Leader.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care or equivalent.
A full manual UK Drivers License is desirable for this role.

This role in Carrickfergus might include:- Supporting individuals / groups / teams within the home, center and community.
- Providing a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
- Delivering services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
- Supporting the management team with safe and effective running of the service
- Completing supervisions, inductions and probations, updating and maintaining support plans
