- THE ROLE -
The Procurement Team plays an important role in supporting colleagues in procuring a diverse range of goods, services and works which are critical to the successful operation of the University. The Procurement Manager will work with colleagues from all corners of the organisation to ensure our high-quality procurement arrangements reflect the needs and ambitions of the University strategy.
- ABOUT YOU -
- An honours degree or a relevant equivalent professional qualification
- Experience as a senior manager within a procurement function of a large organisation
- Demonstrable experience of taking a lead role in ensuring compliance and governance within a procurement function
- Experience of playing a key role in the development of procurement strategies and new procurement initiatives
- Experience of working with teams and/or businesses to improve their service delivery through improved regulatory and/or policy compliance and governance
- Evidence of success in managing cross functional teams and improving the performance of a procurement team
- Proven success in project management and delivery, tracking and monitoring performance, and managing data and systems
