Northern Ireland Housing Executive - Housing Advisor - Portadown
This role would be ideal for a recent graduate with 1 years relevant customer support experience or an experienced professional looking to begin their career within the Public Sector. About the role:
- Hourly Rate: £14.91 per hour
- Location: Portadown
- Hours of Work: 37 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
- Holidays: 35 days pro rata
- Duration: Temporary, ongoing

Job Purpose:- To assess customers’ needs and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to provide effective housing solutions and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct interviews and home visits to assess customer circumstances, gathering information to tailor support.
- Arrange emergency housing when needed, managing cases to minimise temporary accommodation use.
- Prioritise caseloads to expedite long-term housing solutions and contribute insights on housing supply.
Criteria:- Qualifications: Degree or equivalent with 1+ years of customer support experience OR BTEC Higher Cert/Diploma in Housing and 1+ years experience OR BTEC Higher Cert/Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years experience OR 3+ years of relevant experience with continuous professional development
- Skills: Proficient in IT and MS Office (Intermediate level).
- Other: Full, valid driving license
