We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join! Our client, a large public sector body is looking for an Admin Officer to join their team!

Rate of Pay: £12.59

Location: Coleraine

Hours: 37 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (Flexi included)

Duration: 51 weeks

Start Date: As soon as possible

Training in the use of the relevant systems will be provided as part of the induction process for this role.

Job Duties:

The main responsibilities of this Admin Officer post are:

• As the first point of contact for all fault logging in relation to PTLD’s systems, engage with users to carry out a review of the incident to identify if it is an incident or user error, liaise with section supervisors to get screen prints of the incident so that it has been fully and properly documented.
• where an incident has been agreed as a potential defect,

o Carry out initial triage of issues to identify what sort of incident it is (e.g. network or PC issue, application issue), liaising with the BTA team when necessary
o Log it through IT Assist and Fujitsu’s Service Desk software for management of performance against SLAs and Contract
o Open and maintain a record of the incident including assigning a Priority Rating, and agreeing closure of the incident
o Monitor and escalate incidents, problems, changes, service requests with line management

• Conduct user acceptance testing when new releases of systems are being developed

  • Collate monthly statistics on incidents and resolution performance and any other matters to ensure improved performance going forward;

• Ensure all information on patching and network outages is passed to the relevant parties;

• Ensure requests for new users or change of role are properly authorised and the role is set up and monitored.

• Maintain an up to date register of authorised user accounts and issue monthly reports to AO to identify any change of roles and to make changes for leavers and joiners;

• Check the daily TVL/BVL reconciliation reports for issues and progress any necessary updates, ensuring that appropriate records are held of the process.

• Carry out review of Rate It reports and circulate to management on a regular basis

• Complete CLS Licensee merges when required and ensure they are appropriately documented


Essential Criteria:

Must have 5 GCSEs including Maths & English – Certificates required

Applicant will be required to complete an Access NI during registration
