Maintenance Manager

Are you looking for a Maintenance Manager role?

Ideal person

• Minimum two years’ experience preferably in healthcare environment.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of maintenance staff.
• Full driving licence and access to your own car for travelling as required.
• Electrician/Plumbing Certificate (Desirable)
• Previous experience of undertaking PATs testing (Desirable)
• Good general knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including inspecting buildings, systems, and equipment for issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues, or schedule repairs when needed.
• Ensure the Care Homes are safe and comply with regulations, including fire, smoke, and carbon monoxide systems.
• Order and maintain supplies and tools, and monitor inventory.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are always kept clean
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair tasks
• Delegate tasks to other maintenance team members as and when required
• Perform general facilities support tasks, such as furniture building and removal, and grounds and site clearance.
