The School
This is a co-educational school in Indonesia catering for pupils aged 3-16 years old, with a diverse student population of over 15 nationalities. The school follows Montessori for students from ages 3-6, the primary school integrates the Cambridge Primary Curriculum and the inquiry-based International Primary Curriculum (IPC), and the Secondary Students follow the Cambridge International at Key Stage 3, IGCSE and A-level. The school prides itself on having a very low student - teacher ratio, with great facilities for the students to excel in. It is an inclusive, supportive workplace where staff are highly valued and empowered to explore their creativity and impart their unique style and inspiration to the school community. Requirements
- This excellent school are looking for teachers with a relevant teaching qualification and at least 5 years of teaching experience.
- An inquiry approach, or Montessori or IPC curriculum experience is preferred for Primary roles, and UK curriculum experience to IGCSE level for Secondary roles
- You should have good interpersonal skills and a willingness to contribute to a growing school.
- You should be a resilient, internationally minded individual.
- This opportunity affords you the opportunity to work with some great students and experience the “true” Indonesia. The school prefers applicants with previous international experience as they find that these applicants "settle" in Surabaya more effectively.
