Artemis Human Capital is delighted to collaborate with our Global Entity Client, Belfast.

As a Rewards/Compensation Specialist, you will support and advance our client’s compensation strategy by providing essential analytical and project management expertise. This role will involve engaging in compensation surveys, analysing market data and job descriptions, producing detailed reports, and collaborating on departmental projects. You will be a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, guiding them through compensation-related decisions and practices.

In your new role, you will be involved in:


  • Consultative Support: Offer consultative guidance and analytical support to managers on compensation policies, market practices, and data analysis.
  • Survey Process Management: Lead the compensation survey process, collaborating with HR colleagues, business leaders, and survey providers to ensure accurate job matching.
  • Market Data Analysis: Study and analyse market data and compensation trends to support salary determinations and job grading that align with the client’s compensation strategy.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Produce regular and ad hoc compensation reports for various departments, including Finance, Technology, Business Development, Inclusion and Diversity, and Professional Services.
  • Industry Research: Track trends and practices in compensation through participation in industry groups, benchmarking studies, and market intelligence gathering.
  • Compensation Program Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of compensation practices, policies, and processes.
  • Hiring Support: Collaborate with the recruitment team to develop competitive compensation offers for new hires.
  • Executive Compensation Support: Support the annual compensation review process for C-Suite executives by ensuring access to accurate, up-to-date benchmarking data.
  • Policy Adherence and Team Collaboration: Maintain a thorough understanding of firm policies and actively share insights that benefit the broader team. Seek ways to enhance service delivery and support a culture focused on exceeding client expectations.
  • Confidentiality: Safeguard all sensitive and confidential information.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong working relationships with both internal and external partners to enhance the client’s compensation and HR initiatives.


What you will need:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or qualified by experience
  • Compensation Experience: Prior experience in compensation analysis with foundational knowledge of survey submissions and job matching.
  • HR Experience: Background in other HR areas such as employee relations, benefits, recruiting, or HR systems is beneficial.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required; familiarity with relational databases and HR management systems is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in data handling.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt messaging to various audiences.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: Strong appreciation for confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.
  • Adaptability and Multi-Tasking: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and evaluate alternative solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours or overtime as required.
