assisting our client with the recruitment of a Group Marketing Director. Our
client is a growing High-End hospitality group that is looking to establish a
Marketing function that will help with their brand as they scale.
This is a newly created position with my client and they
are interested in speaking to candidates coming from a hospitality chain,
hotel, retail background. My client would also be interested in candidates
coming from a fast-paced Marketing Agency.
Duties
·
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all
channels and marketing efforts
·
Develop & lead on brand projects &
promotional campaign calendar
·
Develop and implement a comprehensive
groupwide marketing strategy aligned with revenue goals.
·
Manage hotel-based advertising, both print
& digital
·
Management support of the member’s and gift
voucher programmes
·
Conduct analysis of guest review data to
understand the needs and attitudes of the guests
·
Maintain awareness of competitor activity and
the factors influencing the hotel industry
·
Work closely with members of the hotel
management & commercial team to identify marketing opportunities &
priorities
·
Managing the relevant marketing costs in line
with budget expectations.
·
Develop a good working relationship & day
to day management of agency partners (e.g. Brand Companies, etc.)
·
Support the wider Marketing team in
delivering the overall team’s objectives.
·
Conducts PR activities.
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
·
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related
field.
·
8-10 years of experience in marketing and
communications, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in
the hospitality industry.
·
Multi property experience.
·
Strong knowledge of digital marketing,
branding, and media relations.
·
Excellent leadership, communication, and
analytical skills.
·
Proven ability to manage multiple projects
and campaigns simultaneously.
