Working in tandem with our client based In Newtownabbey Area, Due to expansion our client requires an experienced Welder Fabricator to join their expanding team. Excellent opportunity within this company.

WORKING HOURS

DAY SHIFT ONLY!

MONDAY to FRIDAY 08.00am to 17.00pm = 40 hour working week

Hourly rate:

£15.08phr + holiday pay

Responsibilities

1. At least 3 years’ experience of welding & FABRICATION,

2. MUST HAVE WELDING & FABRICATION EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITHIN A COMPANY

3. EXPERIENCE OF FLUX CORE WELDING.

  • You must be able to plan and control the work ahead as well as delegate work to others.
  • You must be able to use your own initiative and work with minimum supervision.
  • You must have an excellent timekeeping and attendance record.

7. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components based on blueprints and specifications

8. Use various tools and equipment, such as welding machines, grinders, and saws, to cut, shape, and weld metal materials

9. Perform basic mathematical calculations to measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces

10. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

11. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:
- Proficient in basic math skills for measuring and marking dimensions
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with welding techniques, such as MIG, or Flux Core
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in fabrication work
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
