MCS Group is proud to be working exclusively with our award-winning food manufacturing client based in County Armagh for a Senior Development Chef to join their team.

As the Senior Development Chef you will:

• Interpret development briefs in line with customer expectations and company business plans
• Demonstrate culinary knowledge and skills to create new recipes to satisfy customer briefs
• Prepare/ cook new products for customers to sample including hospitality for visits
• Assist and present in customer presentations and product submissions demonstrating interpersonal skills
• Up to date knowledge of food styles, restaurant & food industry market trends and competitor activity, translating food trends into relevant and commercially viable product development
• Communicate new ideas to wider NPD team where relevant
• Take responsibility for short term & long-term projects where required

You will have:

• Relevant third level qualification with evidence of recipe creation

• Experience as a development chef or NPD role previously (ideally within industry)
