Bela Recruitment is hiring a Health & Safety Officer to work from the Dungannon
/ Portadown, Tyrone area of Northern Ireland.
Salary – £28,000 - £35,000
Location – Very easy to commute from - Dungannon / Portadown / Armagh
VISA – Not

You will provide vital Administration or Officer type
support across Health, Safety and Environmental needs, to ensure business
compliance. A wonderful opportunity for anyone keen to progress a career in

experienced H&S Administrator or Officer.
Responsibilities
· Arrange weekly meetings for the business, record mins,
update systems and share mins.
· Conduct company HSE audits, reporting non-conformance
and quality issues.
· Support/conduct inductions for new starts &
contractors, conduct manual handling training, ensure training records are kept
updated & accurate at all times.
· Conduct data gathering & ensure critical tasks are
completed on-time, fleet checks, stores audits, tender tracking, plant register
– training will be provided.
· Compiling & maintaining sub-contractor
documentation related to HSEQ.
· Assisting in incident reports.

Requirements
· H&S Officer Job – minimum 2-3 years H&S
experience in a commercial setting such as construction, factory, or utility,
but open to other experience & ideally a H&S qualification.
· Experience in document control and updating databases.
· Proven ability to follow company processes, support a
wider team and meet deadlines.
· Must have good Microsoft skills across Word &
Excel.
· Excellent written & verbal communication skills
and interpersonal skills.
· For either job – you must be able to learn new
processes, complete tasks on time and eventually work independently.
· Driving Licence
