Sustainability Officer (SOERE/24)

Salary starting £34,524 per annum plus attractive pension

Invest Northern Ireland is looking for a Sustainability Officer to join our Energy and Resource Efficiency team.

The role

The Sustainability Officer will work directly with businesses and service providers to deliver technical advice and guidance to help Northern Ireland businesses to identify opportunities to implement more sustainable practices.

You will support businesses on their journey to decarbonisation and achieving net zero whilst also highlighting opportunities for cost savings.

This includes working with businesses from the initial stage of scoping out projects to a successful grant application for energy efficient/renewable technology.

The candidate

You will have a degree in a STEM related field (engineering/scientific) or experience of working in the Energy & Resource Efficiency environment.
