SOC Analyst

A chance to work for a managed IT and cybersecurity provider specialising in industries such as finance, health care, and payments, offering a range of services such as managed security, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity consulting. You will be working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) to monitor and respond to security incidents.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical background, experience in SOC operations, and an interest in cybersecurity.

Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 9pm UK Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a 24/7/365 SOC, monitor security tools, and provide Tier 1 and 2 responses to security incidents.
• Respond to internal and external threats, coordinating with stakeholders to recommend mitigation strategies.
• Conduct incident analysis, determine if critical systems or data are affected, and provide remediation advice.
• Handle threat hunting, incident triage, malware reverse engineering, and network threat investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research threats and implement security solutions.

What is required for the role:

• Previous SOC experience required (at least one year minimum)
• Exposure to a combination of the following: EDR, Crowdstrike, Sentinel, Defender
• Experience with O365
