They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join their team and lead the management of client portfolios while supporting the development of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Portfolio Management:
    Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing expert financial, tax, accounts and audit services while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    Lead, mentor, and oversee the work of junior and mid-level staff, ensuring quality and timely completion of assignments. Provide performance feedback and assist in their professional development.
  • Review and Approval:
    Review financial statements, accounts files, audit files, and tax returns prepared by junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Audit & Accounts Experience:
    Apply your expertise in both audit and accounts, overseeing audits and accounts preparation and ensuring financial reporting standards are met. Conduct high-level reviews and manage audit and accounts workflows effectively.
  • Workflow and Process Management:
    Ensure efficient project management, meeting deadlines, and balancing workload among the team while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Client Advisory:
    Offer advisory services to clients, including tax planning, financial strategies, and other business matters as required.

  • Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in accounts and audit within an accountancy practice
  • Proven managerial experience, with a strong track record in leading teams and managing client relationships
  • Strong understanding of UK accounting and audit standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
