We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a Public sector organisation based in Newtownards for an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
Rate of pay- £16.63
Weekly Hours- 37
Main duties of role-
-Price and forecast of materials needed for projects
-Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documents
-Track changes to the design or construction work and adjust budget projections
-Measure and value site work
-Liaise with site managers and construction professionals
• preparing detailed cost estimates,
• BOQ/ PPL production,
• assessment/ remeasurement of works completed monthly under NEC3/4,
• dealing with change control, Early Warning Notices, Compensation Events,
• preparing interim payments,
• agreeing financial reconciliations
Essential criteria-
Experience of NEC Contracts
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft office applications
At least 2 years demonstrable experience within Quantity Surveying
