Your new role
As a Technical Manager based at the company’s manufacturing site in Co. Monaghan, you will work closely with the Head of Technical and NPD and develop strong relationships with all departments. Your focus will be to drive the delivery of Technical Standards across the site’s operations, ensuring food safety, product quality, and integrity. You will lead and manage the technical team, ensuring that standards are understood, communicated, and effectively challenged through audits.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have a degree, preferably in a food-related discipline, along with significant experience within a chilled food environment, with a good understanding of High Care, High Risk, RTE, RtRH, and RTC disciplines. You should be experienced in managing food safety risks and projects and have proven leadership skills and experience of managing people to achieve results. You should also have experience working with food safety management systems that comply with GFSI standards, including BRC. Strong communication skills and IT literacy are essential, along with the ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
