Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician

MCS Group are proud to be working with one of the most well-known food manufacturers in Northern Ireland to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to join their award-winning team based in Tandragee.

You will;

• Demonstrate a clear and logical approach to fault finding in modern PLC-controlled machinery.
• Abide by safety rules and ensure hygiene standards are maintained within the department.

• Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule
• Provide support for unplanned maintenance such as breakdowns

Essential Requirements;

• Time served – mechanical or electrical
• Understanding of an FMCG supply chain

• Educated to ONC or equivalent
• Good working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems (must be multi-skilled)
• Strong knowledge of electronic control devices
• Strong electrical discipline within the process environment

You will be required to work as part of a small team of shift engineers following a rotating shift pattern. The shifts are 7 days and 7 nights of 11.5 hours worked over a 28-day period.
