This is a newly created role that has come about as the company is going through a sustained period of growth and will offer the right candidate fast track progression to Finance Manager.

About you

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong commercial experience.
• Experience of working with financial systems (SAGE/XERO) coupled with strong Excel skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

What you’ll do

• Preparation of management accounts for monthly reporting and presenting financial reports to senior management team.
• Preparation and management of budgets.
• Assist in developing, implementing and improving business strategies.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Regular bank reconciliations.
• Administration of accounts receivable ledger and credit control management.
• Management of accounts payable ledger and organising payment runs.
• Maintaining fixed asset register.
• Reconciliation and management of stock, to include assisting in the co-ordination of processes by the operations team to ensure accurate inventory control, tracking and maintaining transactions for movements on the stock system.
• Preparation of ad hoc analytical reports required to assist business operations team
