IT Business Support Manager

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a Top 10 NI Employer in their search for an IT Business Support Manager on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will sit as a someone with key responsibility in the Information Services Department.

The Role:

• Responsible to build and support a team to provide a single point of service for all organisation departments for the provision of ICT Goods and Services including new ICT services and Mobile Communications.
• Identify, plan and prepare budgets for systems projects based on business objectives and priorities of the organisation.
• Key responsibility for the technical delivery and management of multiple Mobile Phone contracts and services.
• Key responsibility to manage team and liaise with colleagues to ensure compliance with Financial Delegations and Procurement policies for all ICT expenditure across the organisation.
• Manage, motivate and develop the staff in the IT Business Services team, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and tools to perform their roles effectively.

What do I need to apply?:

• Minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above, to include English and Maths, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a business support role with an understanding of the key tasks involved in managing, supporting and developing staff to include the following.
• Financial Budgetary Planning and Reporting in a public or private sector organisation.
• Operational Procurement in a public or private sector organisation.
• Data Analysis experience.
• Creation of business reporting with data summaries and meaningful recommendations.
• Experience in managing 3rd party suppliers and contracts.
• Proficiency in MS office applications.
