Responsibilities
·
As Engineering Team
Lead, you will work closely with the Engineering Manager to plan & schedule
engineering duties, ensuring equipment is kept in full working order.
·
Work with the
production team to ensure job requests are resolved quickly.
·
Manage the shift
engineering workload, prioritisation and direction of duties to ensure that
pro-active maintenance is completed.
·
Ensure all
maintenance works meet & exceed site H&S requirements.
·
Use of Permit to
Work, correct PPS, Machinery Isolation using Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
·
Must be able to
work within the team rota and flexible towards hours, which might include
weekends to meet business needs.
Requirements
·
Time Served
Apprenticeship with relevant Engineering qualification.
·
Proven experience
managing, leading and supporting a team of maintenance engineers.
·
Ability to support
factory maintenance, working under pressure and responding to changing demands.
·
Excellent people
skills, with the ability to support & develop people and drive change.
·
Strong IT skills,
excellent organisational, communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
·
Experience in a high
volume, highly automated manufacturing site working with modern equipment.
