Excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a niche machinery manufacturer who aren’t connected to the current downturn in the screening and crushing industry. Based in the Cookstown area they are working in a booming market and are now keen to fill this brand new additional role to accommodate the workload. On offer is a salary of £38,000 - £45,000 plus benefits.

Role - Design Engineer

· Design and develop new products from concept through to completion.

· Modify existing range of machinery to meet bespoke customer requirements.

· Produce working drawings and engineering specification including BOMs and operators manuals.

· Specify components for new and existing products.

· Ensure new and existing products comply with relevant regulations.

· Attend occasional client site visits to understand needs and establish most effective design.

Person - Design Engineer

· Experience in full product design in a heavy engineering environment such as recycling, screening & crushing, agricultural machinery, trailers or similar is essential

· Competent in the use of Solid Works / Solid Edge / Creo or similar

· A creative and innovative thinker.

· Good interpersonal skills.
