Signatus are recruiting an experienced Conveyancing Director / Solicitor for several solicitors practices based in the Antrim, Belfast City Centre and Glengormley areas. The roles are primarily office based with some hybrid working provided for depending on location.
In most offices, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing, Wills & Probate files, advising clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process,
drafting deeds, and working closely with other members of the team to ensure
that all clients are kept properly informed throughout each stage of the
process.
Existing clients include major residential developers and HNW
individuals with multiple residential property portfolios. There may be some commercial lease work involved on occasion but the majority of caseload is residential in nature. You will be exposed
to and gain experience with detailed property contracts, leases and transfers
involved in the sales of plots in freehold and leasehold projects. An ideal candidate is one who enjoys and has experience in all aspects of conveyancing wills and probate work. Our client is open to roles on a permanent, part time and fixed term contract or consultancy basis.
Typical expectations within the role:

Negotiate and draft legal documents related to
property transactions
·
Conduct title searches and review property
records
·
Prepare and review contracts, deeds, and other
legal documents
·
Coordinate with clients, real estate agents, and
other parties involved in the conveyancing process
·
Ensure compliance with all legal requirements
and regulations
·
Handle any issues or disputes that arise during
the conveyancing process
·
Maintain accurate records of all transactions
Who will this role suit?
NQ-Director or Consultant level PQE with experience in residential conveyancing (and commercial is a bonus) The requirement will vary according to which office you work in.
A solicitor with an ability to build and maintain positive
relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders such as estate
agents, surveyors and mortgage brokers.
