They are seeking a Business Advisory Senior Manager to lead assignments in both the public and private sectors. This role involves working with local development agencies, councils, government departments, and various businesses across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will handle client-facing work, providing valuable advice and insights throughout the engagement process.

What you will do:

  • Public Sector Assignments:
    • Prepare Outline Business Cases (OBCs) and Post Project Evaluations (PPEs).
    • Provide support for public grant schemes.
  • Private Sector Assignments:
    • Develop business cases and financial projections for clients.
    • Offer funding solutions, including bank proposals, business plans, and financial models.
  • Consulting and Advisory:
    • Lead management consultancy assignments to drive business growth, strategy planning, and succession planning.
    • Mentor client businesses to improve outputs, set KPIs, and foster growth and efficiency.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and excellence.
    • Support Directors and Partners with project management and business development.

What you will have:

  • Required:
    • Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Undergraduate degree in any subject (2:1 classification preferred).
  • Desirable:
    • Degree in Economics (not essential).
    • Experience in the public sector (preferred but not essential).

  • Strong social skills and confidence with clients.
  • Ability to overcome challenges and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent numerical skills and a knack for adhering to legislative guidelines.
  • High levels of integrity and authenticity.
