On behalf of our client we are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor. This position is based in Belfast
however the successful candidate will be required to travel to various locations. This role will
start immediately and will be for a minimum of 6 months, with working hours of 9am – 5pm
Monday to Friday offering an hourly pay rate of £16.63 per hour.
Main Duties
- Preparing drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and schedule of rates to enable
tenders to be released
- Receive tenders and quotations – review costs, check documents and prepare
agreements
- Carryout reviews, project management of suppliers to ensure agreed timescale and
budget is in line with agreements
- Ensure paperwork is processed and recorded on the NIHE systems
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders and contractors
- Attend meeting with the Survey Management Team

What we need from you
- A degree or Equivalent qualification in a building/Construction discipline
- 1 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor
- IT Literate
- Driving licence
- Willingness to undertake an Access NI Police check
