We are currently recruiting a Porter to join our client in Craigavon on a temporary ongoing basis

- £11.45 per hour - £20.95 per hour depending on the shift worked
- 37.5 hrs per week 5 days from 7 including weekends and bank holidays,
- Immediate start
Job duties:1. Maintain a security presence within the wards / departments as and whenrequired.2. Respond to all requests for security assistance from staff, patients andvisitors in priority order.3. Patrol the buildings and grounds as necessary.4. Stop and question suspicious or unauthorised persons or known wrong-doersand escort them from the building, if necessary.5. Restrain violent patients/visitors and contact the Police if required.6. Escort staff to and from various locations as and when required.7. Monitor close circuit television screens and respond to any incidents seen.8. Report any untoward events including breaches of security, risks andhazards, broken windows, leaks and wastage.9. Record all incidents involved on the appropriate incident forms and thePortertrac Portering system.
Portering duties include:1. Messenger duties throughout the hospital.
2. Convey wheelchair patients within the hospital.
3. Convey bodies from the Wards to the Mortuary.
4. Distribute stores throughout the hospital.
5. Assist with removal of furniture, equipment etc.
Previous security experience is preferred
