We are seeking a Full-Time Higher Clerical Officer for our public sector client in Londonderry
Hours: Monday & Friday 9am-5pm, 37.5hrs a week
Pay: £11.67 per hour
Main Duties
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide a full secretarial support service to the team and other professionals.
Maintain diaries; arrange diary dates, venues, travel arrangement and hospitality.
This also includes minute taking. Organise the office and carry out routine secretarial duties which include the development and maintenance of an efficient filing system, brought forward system, mail distribution, photo copying, binding and ensure relevant files are available for meetings.
Open and record incoming mail and direct correspondence for the Team or otherwise deal with routine items. This will include the writing and drafting of routine letters for signature.
KEY RESULT AREAS / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
? Undertake in accordance with Trust Policy and Procedures the completion of administrative processes required in relation to service user complaints and feedback.
? Undertake the recording, processing and reporting of complaints/comments received from service users and providing relevant statistical data as required.
? Provide administrative support to complaints staff.
? Perform data entry and extract information/reports from appropriate computer systems including the complaints module of the Datix database.
? Assist in the collection and collation of statistical information.
Essential Criteria
*(a) 4 GCSEs (Grade A*-C) to include
English and Mathematics plus 1 years’ clerical experience in an office environment.
OR
(b) GCSE (Grade A*-C) English and
Mathematics plus 2 years’ clerical experience
In addition to (a) or (b) applicants must have one years’ working experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook in an office environment.
Other
Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
