Finance Officer in Lagan Valley Hospital, Lisburn, this role is initially on a temporary basis for 3 months with the possibility of an extension. A successful candidate will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm. Our client is looking for a candidate that has experience handling large volumes of cash in a similar role. The rate of pay is £11.67 per hour.
The main duties for this role will include handling large volumes of cash from the Trust canteen and car park, dealing with vulnerable clients and help organise their money, calculating VAT on items, preparing lodgements for the bank, ordering cash from the bank, entering data into computerised finance systems, investigating financial queries and providing administrative support within the department.
What We Need From You:
- 4 GCSE’s grade A*-C including Maths and English
- 1 years relevant experience in a similar role using computerised finance systems
- ECDL Advanced Level
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Hold a current driving licence
