Lettings Negotiator - Permanent position - Belfast BT5 -
We are recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator with strong administration skills for our client based in the Belfast area.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible, and have excellent communication skills, especially on the telephone. This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, is adaptable, and excels at managing multiple tasks under pressure.
Main Responsibilities would include:
- Listing
properties
- Organising
market appraisals
- Bringing
on new business
- Agreeing
the letting fees with landlords
- Trying
to swap landlords from the Let Only (non-managed) service to our managed
service
- Building
a relationship with all our sales branches to ensure they are passing any
rentals our way to increase listings and agreeds.
- Carrying
out block viewings on her Saturday (usually every 3rd Saturday)
in a range of 1-5 properties. (viewings only carried out on a Saturday)
- Adding
and Dealing with applications – getting more information from applicants,
shortlisting who you think is best for the property.
- Agreeing
the properties to the tenants
- Negotiating
lease terms (term in months, rental amount)
- Dealing
with the tenant from agreeing the property until their move in day
- Dealing
with the landlord from listing the property to the tenant’s move in day
- Commission/bonus
structure with targets to meet to achieve this.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license car owner (Preferred)
- Previous experience in an administrative role within an office environment, preferably in the property industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A positive "can do" attitude, willing to go above and beyond to provide great customer service.
- Be a confident, highly organised and efficient administrator with a keen eye for detail and who can work well under pressure
- You must be Word/Excel proficient
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 (may be negotiable depending on experience)
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 plus one Saturday (09:30-12:30) every 3 weeks based on a rota.
