EXAM INVIGILATORS
JOB PURPOSE: To assist College Examinations Officer with the invigilation of examinations, distribution of examination papers to students, checking student attendance and other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Director of Student and Learning Services and College Examinations Officer.
HOURLY RATE: £11.94 PER HOUR
REPORTING TO: DIRECTOR OF STUDENT AND LEARNING SERVICES
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist the College Examinations Officer with the invigilation of examinations.
- To assist the College Examinations Officer with the distribution, and collection of student examination papers.
- To assist the College Examinations Officer with checking student attendance.
- Such other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Director of Student and Learning Services.
- To, on occasions, provide one-to-one supervision for examination candidates.
- To monitor student actions and behaviours in the Examination Hall, and to report any suspicious activities.
- To monitor and control student entrance to and exit from the Examination venue.
- To ensure that examination conditions are maintained throughout the examination sessions.
