APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS TO THE COUNCIL FOR THE CURRICULUM, EXAMINATIONS AND ASSESSMENT (CCEA)
The Department of Education (DE) is seeking to appoint a Chairperson and members to the CCEA Council. These positions offer an exciting opportunity for the successful candidates to enhance their professional and personal development within an organisation that plays a key role in supporting the educational outcomes of children and young people.
The Chairperson role typically requires between one to two days per week commitment and members approximately two days per month. The annual remuneration of the Chairperson is £20,000. Member positions are unremunerated. Travel and subsistence expenses will be reimbursed for costs incurred while carrying out CCEA related work.
Applications are welcome from a wide range of people who have an interest in public service, including those with previous experience of being a chair or member of a board of an Arm's Length Body/Non-Departmental Public Body (ALB/NDPB) or equivalent. A Guaranteed Interview Scheme is in place for those applicants with a disability.
