About the Role:
Our client is passionate about delivering exceptional service and products to their customers, and are seeking a commercially-minded procurement or purchasing professional to join the team. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the achievement of both personal and team KPIs on a daily basis.
• Manage the procurement process for production, ensuring optimal lead times and cost efficiency.
• Innovate and streamline the sourcing of materials and equipment to meet production needs.
• Oversee supplier performance, building strong, collaborative relationships with both suppliers and customers.
• Lead pricing and service negotiations to secure the best possible agreements that align with quality standards.
• Ensure stock levels and supply chain flow are maintained to deliver top-tier service and products to customers.
• Adhere to company policies, especially related to Equal Opportunities and Dignity at Work.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally with exposure to maintenance equipment and sourcing.
• A creative problem-solver with a passion for the industry.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with technical CAD drawings and raw material specifications is advantageous.
• Knowledge of special processes is a bonus.
