Financial Controller - £55000 - £65000 per annum - Belfast
Your new companyOur client is a family-owned business that has seen great growth and is a recognisable organisation across Northern Ireland. They are a dynamic and busy environment where they have seen good growth.
Your new roleAs the Financial Controller, you will be leading a small finance team to deliver financial management and reporting functions. You will have a direct impact on the financial planning and strategic growth of the company as you report directly to the MD.

• In delivering the forecasting, budgeting and reporting, you will be directly affecting profitability.
• You will be working closely with the board and the managing director to drive the strategy and development of processes.
• You will prepare and deliver timely monthly management accounts and end of year accounts.
• You will be reviewing and delivering improved reporting processes to support the Board and the Managing Director in their commercial decisions.
• Provide information and analysis on the financial aspects of strategic projects.
• Prepare and submit all statutory returns, including statutory accounts
• Contribute to effective coordination between finance and other departments.
• Proactively manage relationships with auditors, solicitors, service providers and business advisers to ensure compliance and enhance business operations.

What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant with some good post-qualification experience within business. You will have good experience of preparing commercial information to support business-making decisions.
