What you'll need to succeed
As a Assistant Manager in the Investment Management Audit & Assurance practice, you will oversee key client engagements and be responsible for helping resolve accounting, auditing, and other issues that arise during the audit process.
A leader in the field, you will be supervising and managing services to clients including preparing audit strategy and budgets. Someone of your knowledge and know-how will also be expected to:
Drive the delivery of services in a timely and effective way, exceeding our clients’ quality expectations
Build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations
Develop a personal growth plan/strategy around a portfolio of key clients/new business, and network contacts
Schedule audits, identify staff, and assign workloads
Supervise, develop and motivate staff, including coaching and career guidance
Identify and lead integration of overseas resources (i.e. delivery centres) to drive efficient execution
Actively monitor and manage engagement economics such that revenue is recognised appropriately throughout the engagement
Consult and advise our clients on technical accounting, auditing and internal control matters
Stay connected to market trends to think through future innovative solutions
What you'll get in return
- ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
Strong experience leading audits in the Investment Management/Insurance industry
An experienced level of proficiency working with IFRS, UK, US GAAP or equivalent reporting standards
The ability to present client data in a clear and concise format
Ability to develop effective client relationships, in particular establishing rapport, trust and confidence with stakeholders
Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, and able to manage and motivate teams with team members at all levels
Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
Experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements
